Investment Management

This course deals with a wide range of investment topics including: personal lifetime financial planning, such as retirement planning and the roles of RRSPs, pension plans and annuities; investment taxation; and the valuation (both fundamental and technical) of common stocks, bonds, preferred stock, convertible securities and options. Projects require practical application of the materials to an individual's situation. 3 credits. Online delivery or Lecture on-campus. Prerequisite: COMM 5102
